The Eye Floater Institute has permission from the ophthalmologist performing Laser Vitreolysis in these videos (the doctor’s patients have authorized him to share these testimonials publicly) to use these testimonials in educational marketing. Testimonials appearing in these video presentations are actually received via video submission from the ophthalmologist. They are individual patient experiences, reflecting real life experiences of those patients treated by an ophthalmologist with a special purpose laser product. This site is to be used for informational purposes only, and patients must consult with their ophthalmologist to determine which treatments are right for them. As such:

  • Patients must do their own due diligence when searching out an ophthalmologist to perform Laser Vitreolysis.
  • Ophthalmologists that perform Laser Vitreolysis share the potential outcomes and risks associated with Laser Vitreolysis with prospective patients prior to treatment. The ophthalmologists listed in the Physician Locator offer the Laser Vitreolysis procedure, but the authors of this web site are unaware of their experience or patient outcomes. The ophthalmologists listed in the Physician Locator to the best of our knowledge use the Ellex Ultra Q-Reflex or Tango-Reflex YAG lasers to perform the Laser Vitreolysis procedure.
